  3rd Grade News Week 8 October 25th - October 29th, 2021 Monday, October 25th-PE Tuesday, October 26th -Music Wednesday, October 27th - LATE START Thursday, October 28th-Library/Media Center Friday, October 29th-Art, Halloween Party 1:30-2:25, All School Parade 3:15 Important Dates Late Starts - November 3rd, 10th, 17th ½ Days - November 11th, 12th, and 19th Thanksgiving Break-No School - November 24th-26th   Multiplication Facts And we’re off on our multiplication adventure!  In our last math unit, we began introducing students to using equal groups and arrays to solve multiplication facts.  We are beginning memorization by learning the 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s.  We are working on these in class, but many students will benefit from additional practice at home.  Resources to use include:  IXL F Skills, Flashcards, using items at home to make equal groups (for our more visual learners) examples would be: pennies, beads, Popsicle sticks, etc.   Positivity Project Character Strength:   Cr

I am looking forward to my future conferences as well.   The social studies test will be coming home on Tuesday! I forgot to tell the kids, but if they spent time studying for the test, they could add that to their homework sheet, at the top of the page, for extra yards.
