  3rd Grade News Week 31 April 25th - April 29th Monday, April 25th - PE Tuesday, April 26th - Music, NWEA Reading Test Day 1 Wednesday, April 27th- LATE START, NWEA Reading Test Day 2, 2nd grade program Thursday, April 28th - Library/Media Center Friday, April 29th - Art Important Dates Late Starts - May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th No School - May 2nd Elementary Track Meet - May 6th   Behaviors/Kindness As the end of the school year approaches we are struggling as a class to really be nice to one another. We have spent time doing class meetings and discussing behaviors that are appropriate and inappropriate at school. I have had many one on one conversations with students about behavior as well. We will be working this week on kindness lessons, and truly reminding them of the golden rule that "if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all."   3rd Grade News Week 30 April 18th - April 22nd Monday, April 18th - PE Tuesday, April 19th - Music, M-Step Reading Test Day 1 Wednesday, April 20th- LATE START, M-Step Reading Test Day 2 Thursday, April 21st -Library/Media Center  Social Studies Test Friday, April 22nd - Art Important Dates Late Starts - April 27th, May 4th, May 11th No School - May 2nd   Spring Field Trip- Potawatomi Zoo Please look in your child’s folder for a permission slip and information on our field trip coming up on Friday, June 3rd!   Spring Weather As temperatures begin to warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.   Testing Begins this Week! We will begin M-Step testing on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  Please be sure your child’s computer is fully charged the night before .  In addition, please ensure they get plenty of rest and a good break

We will be taking two different tests, the MSTEP and the NWEA. With both of these tests, we need to take a math test and a reading test. Here are the dates that we are testing: MSTEP Reading - April 19th and 20th NWEA Reading   - April 26th and 27th MSTEP
