Welcome Back!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable, healthy and restful Thanksgiving Break and you’re ready for the next 3 weeks of learning at school!
Report Cards
Please return the signed envelope to school with your child.
Cold Weather
Now that we are getting into colder weather patterns, please check the weather so that your child has the necessary clothing--boots (when there is snow on the ground), hats, coats, and gloves/mittens--to be going out for recess. We do go out most days unless it is raining or below zero wind chills!
Multiplication Facts
Please continue weekly multiplication fact practice from home. We started with the 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s, but will now continue on to 3’s and 4’s. We are working on these in class, but many students will benefit from additional practice at home. Resources to use include: IXL F Skills, Flashcards, using items at home to make equal groups (for our more visual learners) examples would be: pennies, beads, popsicle sticks, etc.
Positivity Project Character Strength: Kindness
This week’s character strength is kindness. You are generous to others and you are never too busy to help out. You enjoy doing good deeds for other people.
