Halloween Party Success!
Thank you to all the parents that volunteered at our Halloween Party! The kids had a blast!
Multiplication Facts
And we’re off on our multiplication adventure! In our last math unit, we began introducing students to using equal groups and arrays to solve multiplication facts. We are beginning memorization by learning the 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s. We are working on these in class, but many students will benefit from additional practice at home. Resources to use include: IXL F Skills, Flashcards, using items at home to make equal groups (for our more visual learners) examples would be: pennies, beads, popsicle sticks, etc.
Science
We will be wrapping up our science unit next week. We will be reviewing and sending home a sheet on Wednesday. There is a link for an online review on their Google Classroom, that we will do together as a class on Wednesday. You can try this at home if you would like to as well.
