Snow-shoeing at Sarrett
We will be traveling by bus to Sarrett Nature Center on Friday Morning this week. Please make sure your child has a winter coat, snow pants, waterproof gloves, and a hat. If any parent wants to join us, you are more than welcome. You will just need to drive yourself, and meet us there at 9:30am. You will need to pay for your own admission as well.
Wrapping up NWEA Testing
This week we will be finishing up our NWEA tests in both math and reading. Many kiddos finished both tests last week, but for those who didn’t, we will finish up this week. Thank you for having your child here on time in the mornings during this week.
Pizza Multiplication
We have been working very hard at learning many different strategies for solving multiplication problems. We are continuing to work memorizing their multiplication 1-10 facts. For each multiplication level they pass, students will add another piece to make a whole pizza on their recording sheet. Our pizza party will be on January 28th. Please have your child continue working on their facts at home. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math.
