Reading Camp

Do you remember going to camp as a youngster? The days were filled with activities as you moved from session to session. Our third graders are going to have a full day of Reading Camp on the Lincoln grounds. The camp day is scheduled for Monday, June 6th from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:30pm. We are in need of several items to make this happen, including 2 large tents and one canopy, per class. The tents and canopy could be put up Sunday evening or Monday morning and taken down Monday after school. We will be very careful with them! We are also in need of several supplies for the day.   If you are able to help us, please indicate on the Materials Sign up Genius Sheet below. 

 

Also, we are in need of several volunteers to help make this day happen.  If you can be a camp "counselor" that day, we are in need of volunteers. Please fill out the sign up sheet below  if you are available to help that day. All materials and directions will be provided!  We can always use extra hands and your child would love it!  It's your help that makes this a successful event! Thanks for considering. Multiplication

We have started our multiplication challenge...ice cream!  Please check in with your child and continue reviewing their multiplication facts, especially 6, 7, 8, and 9s.  


Positivity Project Character Strength :   This week’s character strength is Other People Mindset:  Knowing my words and actions affect others.  Everything you do can affect others in a positive way.

  3rd Grade News Week 35 May 23rd - May 27th Monday, May 23rd - PE Tuesday, May 24th - Music Wednesday, May 25th- LATE START Thursday, May 26th - Library/Media Center Friday, May 27th - Art Monday, May 30th - NO SCHOOL Important Dates Late Starts - June 1st No School - May 30th, Memorial Day 3rd Grade to Kiwanis - June 1st 3rd Grade to Potawatomi Zoo - June 3rd Kiwanis Park On Wednesday afternoon, June 1st, our 3rd grade classes will walk down to Kiwanis Park.  We will eat lunch at school, then leave to walk to the park and spend time playing and having fun before we return to Lincoln.  We welcome parents and families to join us.    Reading Camp Our third graders are going to have a full day of Reading Camp on the Lincoln grounds.
